Costs and RRP
Costs & RRP compares the costs and recommended retail prices (RRPs) in your suppliers' documents with the cost and price in Shopify, so you notice price rises and margin problems early.
Open it from Costs & RRP in the Stockpace menu in your Shopify admin. It fills in as Stockpace reads supplier documents — see Supplier documents.

Click a tile to filter the Products table. Small differences are treated as the same price; the note under the tiles shows the tolerance.
Products
One row per variant with supplier data. The buttons above the table switch between With supplier data, All variants and Hidden (variants you chose to ignore, and free gifts). Show all — no filters clears every filter.
Main columns: Brand, Product / variant, Status, SKU, Barcode, Stock, Shopify cost, Supplier cost, Cost Δ, previous supplier cost and when it changed, the date of the document the cost comes from, your price, the supplier's RRP and RRP Δ, Margin now and Margin after (with the supplier's cost and RRP), compare-at prices and Warnings.
Click a row to see:
- the supplier items linked to this variant, with their last cost and how they were matched;
- the price history from every document, newest first;
- Update in Shopify — the changes Stockpace suggests from the supplier's figures.
Update cost or price in Shopify
Under Update in Shopify, Stockpace offers the supplier's new cost, price or compare-at price. Nothing changes until you confirm:
- Choose the change, or type your own value.
- Check the before and after values.
- Press Yes, update Shopify.
Stockpace checks the new value in Shopify afterwards and keeps the old value, so you can Undo the change.
Exchange rates
£$€ Exchange rates shows the rate in use today and lets you fix rates for chosen periods. Fixed rates are used for margins across currencies and for the totals on the Payments page; outside fixed periods, the European Central Bank's daily rate is used.
Needs linking
Each row is a product as written on a supplier document — invoice, price list or order — that is not yet tied to a Shopify variant, or was matched by name only and needs your check. Name, size, SKU, barcode, cost and RRP come from the document; the grey line is the Shopify variant Stockpace suggests.
Tick rows and use:
- Confirm match — accept the suggested variant;
- Link to closest — link unmatched items to the closest variant shown (check the list first);
- Ignore — leave the item out.
Or open a row to search for the right variant yourself. A confirmed link is used for every future document, and several supplier codes can link to the same variant. Linked items also give POs their supplier prices and vendor references, and help create the right Xero bill lines.
Documents
Every supplier document Stockpace has read: brand, type, reference, date, effective date, currency, number of lines, file, sender, when it was received and its read status. File ↗ opens the stored copy.
Price lists
The price lists read from your suppliers, by brand. Filter by brand, file or product, and use Open all / Close all to expand them. Invoices, POs and order forms are under Documents.
How supplier prices reach your POs
When a product has one current supplier price in the vendor's currency, it is filled in as the unit price on new POs and used for the Supplier prices value on the Dashboard. When there is none, or several different ones, the product shows No supplier price — type the price on the PO.
