Replenishment
The Replenishment tab lists your products with how many units to order now, so you can check the recommendation product by product before you buy.
What the recommended quantity means
For each product, Stockpace forecasts how much you will sell, using your sales history, recent trend, seasonality and the days the product was out of stock. It then works out what you need so that stock lasts through the lead time (until the order arrives) and the days of stock after that, taking off what you have in stock and on open purchase orders.
The result is shown in the Replenishment column:
- It is rounded up to the product's minimum order quantity and case pack.
- When rounding changes it, the forecast's own figure is shown underneath as needed ….
- Products marked not replenishable are never recommended.
Lead time, days of stock and the other forecast settings can be set for the whole store, per vendor and per product. A product's own setting wins over the vendor's, which wins over Settings. See Settings.
Tiles
At the top of the tab:
| Tile | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Products to order | Products with a recommendation, and units |
| Value at cost | The order at Shopify cost per item |
| Order now | Order-by date passed, or runs out before a delivery could arrive. Click to filter |
| Out of stock | Products that sell but have no stock now. Click to filter |
| No supplier price | No current supplier price in the vendor's currency. Click to filter |
| Overstock | Value of stock beyond what lead time, days of stock and minimums need. Click to filter |
Under the tiles, Sales counted: … shows which sales channels are counted as demand.
Views
Use View by to choose:
- Vendors — one row per vendor. Click a row, or N products, to see its products.
- Products — one row per product, all variants added together.
- Variants — one row per variant. This is the most detailed view and the one with product settings.
- Collections — one row per Shopify collection.
Under each name, N variants / N products takes you one level down. ‹ Back to … returns to where you were. Filters you have applied show as chips; click a chip to remove it.
The Vendor and Collection drop-downs narrow any view. The vendor list shows how many products each vendor has to order, the order value and how many need ordering now.
The buttons above the table choose which products are listed:
- To order — only products with something to order.
- Active products — every active product.
- Active + draft — draft products too.
Switches at the top of the page
These change Replenishment, the Dashboard and new POs you create while they are set. They apply in your browser only and do not change anyone else's view.
- Plan for — plan for All stock locations together or for one location. Shown when you have more than one stock location, on the Growth plan and above. See Sales channels and locations.
- Amazon FBA — shown when you have Amazon FBA orders. Setting follows Settings and each vendor's choice; On counts FBA sales for every brand without its own choice; Off leaves them out.
- Wholesale — shown once you have set wholesale codes or tags. Works the same way as Amazon FBA.

The sales and stock card

- the main warning;
- lead time, days of stock, 30-day sales, sales per day, stock and on order, ABC class and the date it was created in Shopify;

- where the supplier price comes from.
Product settings
In the Variants view, click a row to open the product panel. It shows stock, sales per day, the forecast, units to order and when it sells out, a month-by-month table of sales by channel for the last two years with days out of stock, and which listings' sales are counted for it.
Under Settings for this product you can set:
- Bought from — the vendor, when one brand comes from more than one supplier;
- Vendor's code — printed as Vendor Reference on the PO;
- Lead time (days) and Days of stock;
- Min stock and Max stock;
- Minimum order qty and Case pack;
- Units per day (by hand) — replaces the forecast, for launches or known changes;
- Replenish this product;
- Note — shown in the sales card, never printed.
Leave a box empty to use the vendor or account setting. Press Save.
⊘ Stop replenishing removes a product from recommendations (Replenishment, Dashboard and new POs) until you press ✓ Replenish again. You can still add it to a PO by hand.
Create a purchase order
- Pick a vendor in the Vendor drop-down.
- Check the quantities.
- Press Create PO (N lines), or Create empty PO if there is nothing to order.
A draft PO opens with the recommended quantities. When Plan for is set to one location, the PO is delivered to that location. See Purchase orders.
